Available Positions:
DIVERSE DANCE INSTRUCTOR:
The Diverse Dance Instructor is a part-time, exempt position. Qualified Dance
Instructors will work to enhance students physical and character development
by providing on-site dance lessons and choreography in various dance genres.
Summer evening sessions will resume for 13 weeks, and Summer Camps will be
for 9 weeks (3 seperate sessions). Responsibilities will include developing and
implementing a dance program which covers a wide array of dance styles for
youth in grades 3 through 9 (Summer Camps); Adults and Children ages 4 and
up (Summer Evening Sessions); collaborating with other Art, Music, Dance and
Drama Instructors to direct, record and edit; provide end of session (3)
performances for parents; keeping an inventory of required supplies; and
maintaining accurate class records to provide the studio with participant
attendance.

Minimum Qualifications
Educational:
Have a High School Diploma and at least two full years of dance instruction or
college study in dance. Accreditation and/or a Teaching Credential in Dance
preferred, but not mandatory.
Experience:
At least two (2) years teaching Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Belly, African,
Technique or Creative Movement.
Required Licenses and/or Certifications: Ability to obtain CPR/ First Aid
Certification within six (6) months of appointment.
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR:
The ARTISTIC DIRECTOR is responsible for supporting the Studio Manager in
all the artistic and production aspects of operating the Stafford, VA location. In
the absence of the Studio Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for
overall studio productions, costume arrangements and props. Qualified
individuals must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, ability
to handle multiple tasks and dance studio management experience is preferred.
The artistic Director will be able to set their own schedule to work a minimum 10
hours per week.
Requirements of the position include:
• Two + years dance studio experience preferred.
• Proven ability to successfully manage all aspects of the dance studio
environment.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Publisher and
Outlook, Web Internet.
• Two + years in dance, and/or performing arts.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in dance or related field
preferred.
ADMINISTRATIVE SALES ASSISTANTS:
The main responsibility of this position it to provide support to the Assistant
Manager or Studio Manager in the areas of administration, marketing, customer
relationships, payments, collections and sales. The Admin Sales Assistant will
work more closely with customers in areas of registration and payments. The
Sales Assistant will follow high standards of business and professional ethics
when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.
Job Duties/Tasks
1. Perform general administrative and support functions for the office including
maintaining files, preparing correspondence, running reports, answering
telephones, copying materials, and faxing information.
2. Organize, coordinate, and maintain all customer paperwork.
Correspond with customers to complete new accounts, credit card, cash and
check payments.
3. Handle routine matters for customer accounts: answering customer questions
via telephone and face to face.
4. Provide marketing support for the office to include:
Send marketing brochures to clients and prospects at direction of Managers.
Follow up on referrals, leads, prospects or customers.
5. Keep studio facility clean and well kept. This includes studio rooms, kitchen,
bathroom, lobby, entry way and waiting room.
6. Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
