COMPETITION DANCE TEAM "The Dance Club" - Ages 8-11 & Ages 12-18
We are auditioning for our professional Hip Hop, Ballet & Jazz Dance Teams named "The Dance Club" that will compete in local and national
dance competitions. This group of young guys and gals will perform advanced moves for various events and for various recording artists.
Hip Hop Dancers will display the true meaning of hip hop, while showcasing wisdom, experience and know-how to Northern VA. There will
be nothing like it! Team members will learn advanced dance moves that are choreographed by dance professionals who have worked with
and been trained by professional choreographers in the entertainment industry. We will be setting the stage and building a profound
reputation for maintaining the highest quality standards in performance, competition and professionalism. Ballet, Conemporary and/or
Musical Theater is required during the season.
AUDITIONS: Hip Hop & Jazz Competition Team
Auditions for the Fall 2011 will be held Sunday August 28, 2011 at 4:00PM at
Ari's House of Dance. We recommend you call to sign up for the auditions;

Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out a few forms. There is a $10 fee to
audition, this fee will not be credited towards tuition or any other fees, but will
go towards the team pot to help cover team travel fees. Please be prepared
for a Parent Q&A Session as the audition takes place on at 4:15PM.
The audition will consist of technique training, conditioning and our
choreographers teaching the group a hip hop routine. After they have learned
the routine, they will be asked to come into the studio to audition the piece
individually in front of a panel. They will be asked to add their own personal
freestyle in their favorite genre of dance. From there we will make our
decision on Sunday and notify you before you leave.
